Turning point

When I was young, 22 years old, My rank of Japan Ground Self-Defense Force was Leading Private（LPT）. One of the duties was night watch inside the barracks.

It caught my eye in the line of duty. It was bulletin board. There was something written about technical land sergeant. One of them was an air traffic controller. I decided to take the internal selection examination of air traffic controller. The content of the examination was academic, aptitude, and interview.

I finally passed the examination. And I got an education of air traffic controller by 5th technical school of Japan Air Self-Defense Force in Komaki air base.

I got licensed of air traffic controller and promoted to sergeant.

自衛隊で取れる資格免許

自衛隊では、各種資格免許を取得することができる。しかし、自動的に資格免許が与えられるのではなく、自衛隊は、必要な知識を得るための授業を行うのみで、最終的に受験者本人が勉強しなければ、資格免許は取得できない。たとえば、大型自動車免許は、駐屯地内に自動車教習所が設けられているのが、全国に数ヶ所あり、そこで講習を受けるのだが、学科試験は、公安委員会の運転免許センターにおける本試験を受験しなければならず、そこで合格しなければ、免許は取得できないことになる。私が自衛隊の自動車教習所に入所したのは、４０...
